Do you find yourself missing ABC’s High Potential? We have just the show to fill that Morgan Gillory-shaped hole in your streaming schedule: Wild Cards!
Created by Michael Konyves, the popular police procedural follows the offbeat pairing of a by-the-book detective (Giacomo Gianniotti) and a charismatic con artist on probation (Vanessa Morgan) forced to work together to solve crimes. Decider’s Joel Keller gave the critically acclaimed series a “Stream It” recommendation, writing, “Wild Cards is a light, airy show that’s made very watchable by Vanessa Morgan’s fun performance as Max.”
Wild Cards airs on CBC Television in Canada and The CW in the United States. The season finale already premiered in Canada, with the final episode of the season airing Wednesday, May 7 in the U.S.
What does the future hold for Max and Cole? Will there be a Wild Cards Season 3? Here’s everything you need to know.
The second season consists of 13 total episodes.
The Season 2 finale (“Sunrise, Sunset”) airs from 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
Okay, so this is a weird one. The good news is that Wild Cards has been renewed for Seasons 3 and 4 by CBC Television in Canada, but the show’s renewal status in the United States is still TBD. Per TVLine, the show’s future on The CW has yet to be determined.
Considering the show’s success on The CW and Prime Video, Seasons 3 and 4 will likely find a U.S. streaming home at some point, but as of now, there’s no official news to report.
Every episode of Wild Cards is currently streaming on The CW website. The first season is also available on Prime Video.
The Wild Cards Season 2 finale airs Wednesday, May 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
