The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 saw our girls taking on sophomore year, but when will fans get to return to Essex College?

This last installment, culminating in the finale titled “Never Enough,” inspired by series newcomer Gracie Lawrence’s performance of The Greatest Showman hit.

While The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 cast also welcomed fellow newcomer Mia Rodgers, it also featured the return of OGs Amrit Kaur (Bela Malhotra), Pauline Chalamet (Kimberly Finkle), Alyah Chanelle Scott (Whitney Chase), and a two-episode exit for Reneé Rapp‘s Leighton Murray. Among the other cast members are Renika Williams, Christopher Meyer, and Ilia Isorelýs Paulino.

Each of the show’s three seasons has 10 episodes, meaning there are 30 episodes across the entire series, all of which are currently streaming on Max.

It will be a while before we get more content from our favorite Essex girls. Season 3 just wrapped. The final, tenth episode aired Jan. 23, bringing this season to a close.

As of now, Max has not announced whether the series has been renewed for Season 4 or canceled. Showrunner and co-creator Justin Noble had “no status updates” to offer while catching up with DECIDER ahead of the Season 3 finale, though he teased that Season 3 left ” a lot of new threads to follow,” noting that he “think[s] there’s so many story areas that can come up in a potential Season 4.”

“Even though we didn’t do like big old cliffhangers this season, there’s new doors opening. They’re just sort of optimistic doors as opposed to pessimistic wrenches that the girls have to fix,” he explained, citing Kimberly’s “new perspective on what her life might be,” Bela coming out as bisexual, and Whitney “clos[ing] a chapter on soccer” and being “ready for new adventures as well outside of that sport that has kind of dominated her life.”

Noble also joked that “we have not seen the last of Franklin the Fox,” referring to the Essex mascot Bela gets it on with in Season 3, Episode 4.

“We’ll need at least four or five more episodes about that guy,” he quipped.
