Netflix’s new series Black Rabbit was a whirlwind from the very moment viewers met Jake (Jude Law) and Vince Friedken (Jason Bateman).

The new Netflix drama is set in New York City where Jake co-owns and operates the Black Rabbit, which is poised to become one of the hottest spots in the city until his chaos-magnet brother returns to town. Trouble seems to follow Vince around, and with his return comes an onslaught of drama when he reveals that he’s in debt to a ruthless mob boss who will stop at nothing to get his money back.

The series ends on a wild note that perfectly concludes every character’s story. (No spoilers here!)

Unfortunately for fans, this intriguing new show is a limited series, which means that dramatic season finale could be the last we see of those characters. But, according to the series creators, it sounds like there could be more in store for them. Here’s everything we know about Black Rabbit Season 2.

Netflix has not renewed Black Rabbit for a second season yet.

However, it appears that series creators Kate Susman and Zach Baylin feel quite optimistic about the show coming back.

Speaking to The Wrap, Susman and Baylin teased that they have more plans for the show if it were to get renewed.

“As soon as we got on set and realized what we had with the crew and what we had been able to put together with the cast and the producing team, everyone was kind of like, ‘Why are we ending this? This is a good thing we got going here,’” Susman said. “There are so many storylines I still want to follow.” She noted that she would specifically like to explore Mancuso’s path after Black Rabbit.

Baylin also hinted that there could be more to come.

“Hopefully, people will watch and like the show,” he said. “Then, you know, maybe we get to explore some of those other avenues.”
