When the end credits roll on Ginny & Georgia‘s Season 3 finale, viewers will be left thinking “Woah baby!” and absolutely craving a Season 4. (Get it? Baby? Craving?! Sorry! We had to!)
The highly-anticipated third season of Sarah Lampert’s Netflix series showed Georgia Miller’s (Brianne Howey) past finally catching up with her. While on trial for murder, she lost custody of Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Austin (Diesel La Torraca), went up against her exes Gil (Aaron Ashmore) and Zion (Nathan Mitchell), tested her marriage to Paul (Scott Porter), and grew closer to her good pal Joe (Raymond Ablack). She also took a look inward and committed to changing herself for the better moving forward. So will we get the chance to see her try? Or was Season 3 the end of Ginny & Georgia‘s story?
Those who devoured Ginny & Georgia Season 3 know that the latest batch of episodes ends with quite the cliffhanger and there’s still some serious story potential ahead. So has Netflix green lit Ginny & Georgia Season 4? Or have we said goodbye to Wellsbury, Massachussetts for good?

After seeing all the loose ends in need of tying after Season 3’s finale and the delicious storyline potential ahead, it’s no wonder Netflix wanted more Ginny & Georgia. So when can fans expect new episodes?
Since Ginny & Georgia Season 3 just aired, there’s no official Season 4 premiere date yet. But here’s hoping we won’t have to wait too long for new episodes.
For those who need a refresher, here’s when the first three seasons of Ginny & Georgia premiered.
So far, new seasons of Ginny & Georgia have premiered two years apart, but since the series got an early renewal and switched from a winter to a summer release date for Season 3, perhaps the timeline for a new season will be accelerated.
On February 24, 2025, the official Ginny & Georgia Instagram account revealed that the writers’ room was already back in action writing Season 4 scripts. So fingers crossed that new episodes could arrive in 2026.
The post also teased that based on the first day in the writers’ room, “Season 4 is going to be a RIDE,” so while we wait for more updates, let’s look at what a potential Ginny & Georgia Season 4 might look like, shall we?
If you’re looking for a detailed Ginny & Georgia Season 3 finale recap, Decider’s got you covered. For the purposes of predicting Season 4 storylines, however, here are the main points you need to remember.
After Ginny convinced Austin and Cynthia to frame Gil for Tom Fuller’s murder, Georgia was found not guilty, set free, and returned to her life with her kids back by her side. But that doesn’t mean everything is peachy in Wellsbury. Zion is petitioning for joint custody of Ginny, Georgia’s father Shane Reilly called her from prison to warn her she might be in danger after her trial became national news, and a red pickup truck with her mother and stepfather drove by the house teasing more drama ahead.
The finale also saw Ginny and Marcus share a romantic kiss — but before they could start dating again, Marcus’ drinking problem became so apparent that his mom decided to take him to rehab. Season 4 will undoubtedly follow his recovery, and also see if he’s held back a year after failing and presumably missing summer school.

Before the finale ends, Georgia confronts both of her Season 3 love interests: Paul and Joe. She apologizes to Paul for lying about being pregnant and give him her wedding ring back. But he’s still furious with her and says she tanked his career. The town voted to recall his mayorship, which means Season 4 will likely see him running for office again. As for Joe, Georgia told him everything — including the fact that she did murder Tom Fuller and her former husbands — and he still wanted to be with her. With her fairytale ending in reach, Georgia decided to pump the breaks because she felt her kids needed her to regain her footing without a man. And Joe understood. But who’s to say a Season 4 romance won’t happen?!
In the final scene, Ginny sits in the kitchen reading a book on South Korea to prep for a trip with her dad, and Georgia grabs a gallon of milk from the fridge and chugs. On another show, with another character, viewers wouldn’t think twice. But when Ginny says, “Mom? Didn’t you say you drink milk when you’re pregnant?” Season 3 ends on the perfect cliffhanger.
While Ginny & Georgia Season 4 will presumably continue all of Season 3’s unfinished storylines above, along with the aftermath of the trial and its impact on Ginny, Austin, and Georgia. Another pregnancy storyline will likely be a major focus.
The final scene certainly implies that Georgia is pregnant, which would be another deliciously dramatic twist — especially considering she slept with Paul and Joe in Season 3. As much as I’d love a Georgia and Joe baby to bring them closer together on an accelerated timeline, that sounds a little too convenient. The most outrageous twist would be to make Paul the father, which would stand in the way of Georgia and Joe and put Paul and Georgia in the awkward position of deciding whether they want to co-parent after their fallout and Georgia lying about a pregnancy already! We’ll have to wait and see what Ginny & Georgia has in store. So here’s hoping Season 4 arrives ASAP.
Ginny & Georgia Season 3 is now streaming on Netflix.
