A Missouri woman faces felony charges after allegedly driving “recklessly at different speeds” for over seven miles with her husband clinging on for dear life to the hood of her car.

After an argument turned physical on Thursday, Stephanie Boyd, 38, allegedly drove away from her Vinita Park home with her 31-year-old spouse clasping onto the hood of her car.

While her partner seemingly thought she would stop driving if he was on top of the car, Boyd “left the residence with the victim still on the hood of the vehicle,” according to a Berkeley Police Department report obtained by The Smoking Gun.

Boyd drove for over seven miles “recklessly at different speeds” before making her way onto Interstate 70, heading toward the St. Louis Lambert International Airport.

She sped along that route for 4.6 miles before exiting near the airport and continuing her trek driving on local roads.

Police allege she also drove through a construction zone with the victim on the hood of the car.

Eventually, an officer saw the vehicle along Airport Road and attempted to pull Boyd over.

Boyd led cops on a half-mile chase, driving on with her husband on top of the car as cops tailed her with their lights flashing.

Boyd has been charged with first-degree domestic assault and resisting arrest in connection with the investigation. She is in St. Louis County jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.

If convicted she could face up to 15 years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
