Another Friday on The View means another day without Whoopi Goldberg. For those who aren’t aware of the longtime co-host’s moderated work schedule as of the last year, we have you covered!

Goldberg has been a staple on The View since replacing Rosie O’Donnell as the show’s moderator in 2007. While she’s seen many different co-hosts come and go throughout her tenure, Goldberg currently works alongside Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin. Now on her 16th year in the position, the EGOT recipient’s schedule is starting to clear up a bit.

So, where was Goldberg on this morning’s episode of The View? When will she be back?

Ever since The View hired Navarro and Griffin for full-time positions ahead of Season 26 in 2022, Goldberg and Behar have been able to work a shorter week. As a result, Goldberg is off every Friday, while her comedian counterpart takes off every Monday.

It won’t be long until Goldberg returns to The View! As long as she isn’t sick or has a pre-planned absence, the actress will come back to the show on Monday, Dec. 4 — just in time for the panel’s interview with Chris Evans!

When Goldberg is out every Friday, Behar steps into the moderating position. Meanwhile, Navarro takes over Behar’s regular seat for the hour.
