Sleigh it ain’t so! The View will not be airing a new episode for quite some time as the co-hosts ring in the holiday season. Luckily, we have you covered on everything you need to know about when they will return!

The last time we saw Whoopi GoldbergSunny HostinSara HainesAna Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin was on Friday (Dec. 15), when they enlisted actors Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard to help them celebrate the start of their winter break. However, it’s been even longer since we’ve seen Joy Behar, who was out all of last week with COVID.

So, why exactly is The View off the air today? When will it be back with new episodes?

We have the answers to all of your burning questions. Keep reading for more information.

The View is on hiatus this week and next week, with no new episodes airing from Dec. 18 through Dec. 29. The break comes just in time for Christmas and New Year’s, giving the co-hosts an extended leave to spend time with their loved ones.

Since the ladies are on vacation for the holidays, it looks like The View won’t return until after the new year.
