After signaling a rebuild by shipping Mikal Bridges — their best player — across the East River to the archrival Knicks, all bets are off. And executives around the league who spoke with The Post are operating under the premise that forwards Cam Johnson and Dorian Finney-Smith are still on the trade market.

Point guard Dennis Schroder and newly-acquired Bojan Bogdanovic could also be available under the right circumstances, if Brooklyn decided to stretch out an even deeper rebuild past 2025 by trading expiring contracts and taking back bad deals in order to secure yet more draft assets.
