Vice President Kamala Harris tried to get her hands on a Kristin Juszczyk design but didn’t have any luck.
The 30-year-old fashion designer — who is married to 49ers Pro Bowl fullback Kyle Juszczyk and went viral for her NFL-inspired pieces last season — said she, unfortunately, had to turn down a request from Harris because she had no help to fulfill it
“During the Super Bowl [in February], I got a text from my agent, and that’s when things were going crazy. He was like, ‘Hey, the vice president wants a jacket.’ I’m like, ‘What company?’ He’s like, ‘The country,'” Juszczyk said in a recent interview with Fox News Digital.
“Unfortunately, at that time, I had no help and no ways of being able to make more stuff. There was just no time. But that’s always a funny story that stuck out to me. I’m like, ‘This is going crazy. I got a request from the White House.’”
The brunette beauty quickly garnered fame when Taylor Swift, who’s dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, wore a custom puffer jacket to the Chiefs-Dolphins wild-card game in January.
She also designed a similar Chiefs-inspired puffer jacket for Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, who wore it at Arrowhead Stadium.
Juszczyk was in Las Vegas at the time Harris’ request came in, as her husband played in Super Bowl 2024, where the Chiefs beat his 49ers, 25-22.
At the time, she told the “Today Show” that she did not pack her sewing machine for her trip to Las Vegas.
While there, Juszczyk, who is self-taught, revealed a number of new designs she created for the big game.
The brunette beauty wore her own jacket featuring jerseys from her husband’s entire career, from high school through his journey in the NFL.
She also created a Super Bowl 58-inspired puffer vest to donate the proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Juszczyk reached a licensing deal with the NFL in January, which allowed her to use the league logo in men’s and women’s apparel designs.
Her all-star list of clients also includes 49ers wideouts Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, Fever rookie Caitlin Clark, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne and actor Taylor Lautner.
Taking to her Instagram on Thursday, Juszczyk emphasized that she “had no help last year” and therefore “I couldn’t fulfill any last minute request!”
