Sorry, View fans, but it’s going to be a little while until ABC airs a new episode of the hit daytime talk show. Why, you ask? Luckily, we have you covered on everything you need to know!

Last week, Joy Behar was out with COVID. However, that didn’t stop her co-hosts Whoopi GoldbergSunny HostinSara HainesAna Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin from ringing in the holiday season on Friday morning’s (Dec. 15) episode.

So, why exactly is The View off the air today? When will it be back with new episodes?

We have the answers to all of your burning questions. Keep reading for more information.

The View is on holiday hiatus this week and next week, with no new episodes airing from Dec. 18 through Dec. 29. The break comes just in time for Christmas and New Year’s, giving the co-hosts an extended leave to spend time with their loved ones.

Since the ladies are on vacation for the holidays, it looks like The View won’t return until after the new year.
