Sorry, Live with Kelly and Mark fans. If you were hoping to wake up and see Mark Consuelos‘ abs or listen to Kelly Ripa complain about resurfaced ’90s trends, you might be bummed to hear that there wasn’t a new episode today. Why? We’ve got answers.

The last time we saw the married couple hosting together was on Wednesday, Aug. 9 — and, boy, it was a packed episode. After talking about their children fighting over what gets left to them when they die, they welcomed Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction as she walked onto the set. The couple also gave each other sensual foot massages during a freaky reflexology segment.

So why exactly is Live with Kelly and Mark off the air today? When will it be back with new episodes? Luckily, we have the answers to all of your burning questions. Keep reading for more information.

As of now, the talk show is currently on hiatus — meaning all of the morning chats and segments are pre-taped. A source close to production told The Sun, “The Live family is taking their annual summer break, but will still be providing fresh new material to viewers at home during this time.”

While we’re not exactly sure why today’s episode is a repeat, Decider has reached out to reps of the show for comment — so we will update you as soon as we know!

Live with Kelly and Mark will be not film live episodes until the new season begins in September. Luckily, you can still see new content that the couple — and some surprise guest hosts — have taped in advance!

While Live with Kelly and Mark didn’t air a new episode day, ABC played a rerun of the Halloween episode that Ripa and ex-co-host Ryan Seacrest filmed last year. Aside from fun costumes, you can also look forward to seeing an interview with actor Kal Penn.
