If you were hoping for a new episode of The View this morning, we’re sorry to disappoint. The show is once again airing a re-run.
If you’ve been tuning in this week, you likely noticed that the show is on a hiatus. They first began airing re-runs on Monday (April 14) and will be airing repeat shows through Friday (April 18). The good news is, all of the re-runs are from recent episodes in March and February, so you can catch up on anything you may have missed.
Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin were last in the studio on Friday (April 11) when they hosted guest Scott Galloway.
The podcaster didn’t hold back on his thoughts about President Donald Trump‘s “stupid” tariff plan during the show. He told the panel, “We finally need to acknowledge, we have someone at the wheel of the global economy that is blackout drunk right now.”
The ladies also discussed Michelle Obama’s response to about divorce rumors about her relationship with President Barack Obama on Friday.
Unfortunately, it’s been a while since we last saw Joy Behar live in the studio after she was notably absent from three shows last week, including the Friday show. We hope she can rest up and feel her best when The View returns with live shows.
In the meantime, here’s everything we know about The View‘s spring hiatus.
The View is not airing a new live episode this morning. Fans tuning in were instead treated to a re-run of an episode that originally aired on March 4, during which Stephen A. Smith and Karine Jean-Pierre stopped by.
Thankfully, The View has not been canceled. The show is taking a brief spring hiatus from April 14 through April 18, after which they will return with new episodes. The re-run schedule for the rest of the week is as follows, courtesy of ABC:
Wednesday, April 16 (Originally aired March 4, 2025)– Stephen A. Smith (ESPN commentator and executive producer, “First Take”); former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre
Thursday, April 17 (Originally aired March 11, 2025) – The Political View with Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.); Julian Lennon (exhibition, “Reminiscence”; author, “Life’s Fragile Moments”)
Friday, April 18 (Originally aired Feb. 21, 2025)– Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio (actors, “Daredevil: Born Again”); Antoni Porowski (host, “No Taste Like Home”)

To watch The View, you’ll need to do so through ABC, the show’s home network. The View airs on ABC every weekday at 11/10c. You can also stream The View through the ABC website with a valid cable login or on platforms including Fubo, YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV and Sling TV.
