It’s a Friday at The View, but things are looking a little bit familiar this morning. If you tuned into this morning’s episode and though the jazzy opening number sounded like something you’d heard before, you weren’t just imagining things.

Ahead of the holiday weekend, The View aired a re-run this morning, featuring Whoopi Goldberg — who typically takes off Friday shows — plus Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin. The co-hosts walked out to “When the Saints Go Marching In.”

Goldberg said the co-hosts “wanted to walk out on a really high note” and chose the song in honor of International Jazz Day.

While the moment was a sweet one, it wasn’t anything new to dedicated View fans, who saw the moment when it first aired live earlier this spring.

The View is airing a repeat episode today ahead of the long holiday weekend. With Monday (May 27) being Memorial Day, the ladies are getting some much deserved vacation time.

The View is airing a re-run today, and will also air a re-run on Monday (May 27) during the holiday. The show will be back with new, regular programming starting Tuesday (May 28).

The View aired new episodes this Monday (May 20) through Thursday (May 23) , but played a re-run today. This morning’s episode originally aired on April 30 and features John Leguizamo, who stopped by the show to promote his series The Green Veil.
