NextImg:Why Is “Continue Watching” Missing from Hulu?

More On:

Hulu

We’re all creatures of habit, so when companies make big changes to, say, their user interfaces, people notice. We all noticed when Max started referring to writers and directors as “creators” on the platform in May, and now we’re all scratching our heads at Hulu because no one can find the “Continue Watching” and “My Stuff” shortcuts on the app and website anymore.

Luckily, the disappearance of these sections was not an intentional change to the platform, and Hulu is working to resolve the issue.

If you’re wondering, what happened to “Continue Watching” on Hulu, we’ve got answers. Here’s everything we know about the problem in the meantime:

For several days now, Hulu users have noticed that the handy “Continue Watching” and “My Stuff” sections of their accounts, which provide shortcuts to in-progress shows and movies and access to curated libraries, are no longer appearing on the main account page.

Did Hulu get rid of “Continue Watching?” Fortunately, no — Hulu has acknowledged that this is an unintentional glitch and their support team has been working to resolve it ASAP.

“Our team is investigating the behavior affecting Continue Watching and My Stuff. We don’t have an ETA, but we’re hoping this clears up soon. Thanks for bearing with us in the meantime!” the Hulu Support account shared on Twitter.

As of today (Aug. 4), some users are reporting that the issue has been resolved, while others have reported that they’re still experiencing the glitch with Hulu’s “Continue Watching.”

While plenty of people were wondering, where is “Continue Watching” on Hulu, others were also puzzled over the missing “My Stuff” section. If you’re watching Hulu on the website and find this technical issue frustrating, there is a simple workaround: you can type in the url Hulu.com.My-Stuff to access your content library and see everything in your “My Stuff” section. Go ahead and set a bookmark!

Unfortunately this doesn’t work on the app though, so if you watch Hulu that way, you’ll have to wait till the issue is formally resolved.
