Jane Fonda just wants to go barefoot in the park with a 20-year-old.
The Oscar winner revealed in a new interview that, if she were to date again, the man would have to be under the drinking age limit.
“I’m ashamed to say this, but if I were to take a lover, he’d have to be 20,” Fonda, 85, told comedian Heather McMahan on her podcast “Absolutely Not” on Tuesday.
“Now, why specifically 20?” McMahan, 36, asked the “Grace and Frankie” actress.
“Because I don’t like old skin,” the “Barefoot in the Park” actress deadpanned, causing McMahan to burst out laughing.
“I’m right there with you,” the comedian added. “I’m doing everything I can to keep it fresh.”
Fonda’s admission was met with mixed reactions online.
“Jane Fonda can say this lol she’s the goat,” one user laughed.
“Y’all are not about to try and cancel Jane plz, “a second user wrote. “She’s being funny.”
“I love this woman. So freaking honest! And funny,” a third user commented.
Despite the outpouring of love for the “Book Club” star, many found the comment to be uncomfortable.
“20? I’m not even half her age and I think 20 is too young for my age,” one user added.
“Nah this shouldn’t be normalized,” a second user wrote.
“What about if the 20 year old doesn’t like old skin,” a third user countered.
One user wholeheartedly disagreed with Fonda, stating: “I love old skin, tanned and leathery is my fav.”
This is not the first time the “Agnes of God” actress has stated that she prefers a younger men.
Earlier this year, the star explained her mindset during an appearance on “Seinfeld” alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ podcast, “Wiser Than Me.”
“Spiritually and mentally and psychologically, I’m way younger,” the “9 to 5” star stated at the time. “One of the things that I’ve learned as I’ve gotten into serious old age is when you’re inside it as opposed to looking at it from the outside, it’s not nearly as scary.”
The Golden Globe winner was also recently spotted at LAX being pushed around in a wheelchair.
Fonda, who wore a black jacket with matching pants and a white button-down shirt along with a purple sweater, was seen with several aides as they trekked through the airport.
The climate change activist, who has been arrested at multiple protests, was also diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma last year, and had been undergoing chemo in recent months.
“This is a very treatable cancer. 80% of people survive, so I feel very lucky,” Fonda assured her fans in September 2022.
That December, the cancer went into remission.
“Last week I was told by my oncologist that my cancer is in remission and I can discontinue chemo,” she explained on her website. “I am feeling so blessed, so fortunate.”
