Big Brother

Things stay spicy in the Big Brother house, but things got downright ghost pepper during last night’s eviction episode. With Jag Bains and Red Utley both on the block, we witnessed the house become the most divided it has been up to this point. All of the alliances, from Seven Deadly Sins to Legend 25, waffled back and forth on who to evict. Ultimately, though, the house voted to evict one person — although this round of voting marked the first time that an eviction was not unanimous. There are fractures in this foundation, and they’re only widening!

So, who was evicted on Big Brother last night? Here’s what you need to know.

After a lot of back and forth that lasted literally up to voting, the house ultimately decided to vote Red out. Jag remains in the game! It wasn’t a unanimous decision, though. While 8 housemates voted for Red, two — Cameron Hardin and Bowie Jane Ball — voted to evict Jag.

Both Cameron and Bowie Jane are part of the Legend 25 alliance, which includes Red. What Cameron and Bowie Jane don’t know, though, is that the rest of the Legend 25 alliance is part of another alliance… and then many of those alliance members are part of a third alliance. It’s a turducken of alliances, and Cameron and Bowie Jane are the potatoes and corn.

Cameron wasn’t going to evict Red despite the fact that their bromance flamed out this past week. Cameron’s loyal to Red, and everyone else saw a rekindling of their two-person alliance coming; that’s why everyone else decided to evict Red. As for Bowie Jane… well, she thought the plan was to evict Jag and no one ever lets sweet Bowie Jane in on what’s really going on in the house.

In a major stroke of good luck, Cameron — the #1 target of the core Cirie/Izzy/Felicia alliance that’s running the season — snatched victory and the Head of Household title after a… lord… fart-based trivia game (I swear, this show)… thus ensuring that not only will he not go home next, he’ll get to nominate two people for eviction.

Well, Legend 25 is definitely dead as an alliance. Now that Cameron and Bowie Jane know that everyone else in their alliance voted to evict fellow alliance member Red, they know they can’t trust any of them anymore. Plus, if the eviction of his estranged best buddy doesn’t inspire Cameron to make some bold moves with the eviction nominations, then I no longer have faith in whatever deity controls the BB multiverse. I think that unless Cameron has something else up his sleeve, we can expect to see Cirie, Izzy, and/or Felicia up for eviction next week.
