We haven’t seen much of contestant Joan Vassos in the first two episodes of The Golden Bachelor, but if she’s made it this far, Gerry Turner must see some serious romantic potential with her.
The 60-year-old Private School Administrator from Rockland, Maryland didn’t get major screen time for her limo exit, nor did she receive the first impression rose or the first one-on-one date, but she’s tall, blonde, and one of only twelve women remaining in the mansion ahead of Episode 3, so it’s high time we learn some more about her. Don’t you think?

According to Joan’s official ABC bio, “She has four kids and two grandkids and is looking for love again after losing her husband of 32 years to pancreatic cancer.”

When she’s not working, Joan loves listening to Elton John, hanging with her dog, and cooking a delicious meal,” the bio continues. “Joan describes herself as a loving mother and a hard worker who would love to find someone with whom to enjoy life. She’s happiest when she’s at the beach with her family and is looking for a family man with whom to blend her life.”
