If you’re looking for a man who used to be in finance, is 65, and is THAT GUY, then The Golden Bachelorette‘s Gary Levingston is at your service.
Since the moment Gary hopped out of the limo and grabbed Joan Vassos’ hands to dance in the driveway, we knew this absolute catch had a sparkling personality. “You’re very shy, aren’t you?” Joan asked shortly after Gary made his limo exit. “I’m that guy, Joan,” he replied. And yes, he is.
The rest of the night was all smiles, giggles, and gratefulness for the father of two, who also happens to be the godson of the legendary Tina Turner. Yeah, you read that right!
As Night 1 progressed, Gary whipped out two telephones to have a charming chat with Joan, and when he wasn’t getting to know his Golden Gal, he was adorably saying things like “Oh my goodness gracious!” “Joan is absolutely stunning!” and “Are you kidding me?!” to the camera.
During the special surprise portion of the premiere, when Joan presented her 24 guys with video messages from their loved ones back home, Bachelor Nation got a glimpse at Gary’s family, but there’s still so much more we want to know about our kind king!
So who is Gary Levingston from The Golden Bachelorette? And how long he’s expected to stay on the show? We’ve got answers.
Here’s everything we know about Joan Vassos’ life of the party, Gary, including his age, official Golden Bachelorette bio, Instagram account, Reality Steve spoilers, and more.
Per Gary’s official Golden Bachelorette bio the 65-year-old retired finance executive from Palm Desert, California “has a zest for life that lights up every room he enters!”
“He loves the retired life in Palm Desert, where he enjoys taking spin classes, golfing and watching The View. Gary is the godson of the legendary Tina Turner and is also very musically gifted, with a beautiful singing voice and killer dance moves,” the bio continues. “The charming father of two says his dating life has been nonexistent, but he couldn’t be more ready to meet his soulmate. Gary is hoping to meet a kind, caring and intelligent woman to travel the world with. He dreams of owning a home in the South of France, so Joan, we hope you’re ready to bon voyage with Gary!”

In an August 27 Instagram post, Reality Steve revealed who he believed to be Joan Vassos’ final four contestants, then shortly before The Golden Bachelorette premiere date he posted updated spoilers.
