NextImg:Whitney Cummings Teams With Unlikely Partner OnlyFans To Release The Platform’s Very First Stand-Up Special, ‘Mouthy’

Whitney Cummings is bringing the laughs to a platform you might not have expected.

The comedian is teaming up with OnlyFans to launch her sixth career stand-up special Mouthy on their “free-to-view” and “safe-for-work” streaming service, OFTV, on Nov. 15. In a press release shared Monday (Oct. 23), Cummings said that she “really wanted to experience the same creative freedom that I feel when I perform in live venues and recreate that tension for the audience.”

“Working with OFTV has been the closest experience to a live show that I can remember and they have been so supportive – especially as I made this special while 7 months pregnant!” she continued. “They understand that comedy fans are smart and understand nuance, and I knew they would be the perfect partner to create a special that I would typically only be brave enough to perform in a non-taped show.”

Cummings has previously collaborated with OFTV on her comedy series Whitney Cummings Presents. The show welcomed a multitude of special guests, including Tom Segura, Dan Levy, Kesha, Bob the Drag Queen, Trevor Wallace, Miranda Cosgrove, and Robin Tran. Its premiere episode, “The Roast of Bert Kreischer,” is currently ranked as the most watched episode of OFTV original programming.

“Following the success of The Roast of Bert Kreischer, we knew we had to collaborate with Whitney again,” said Kelly Blair, CEO of OnlyFans.

She continued, “Her creativity as a comedian, and her desire to push boundaries in comedy, embody OnlyFans and OFTV’s aim to provide a space for creators to express themselves freely. This special is another example of our commitment to supporting the comedy community, to showcase their original work and grow their fanbase without unnecessary censorship.”

Some of Cummings’ recent TV stand-up specials include Whitney Cummings: Jokes (2022) and Whitney Cummings: Can I Touch It? (2019), which are both on Netflix. She also released Whitney Cummings: I’m Your Girlfriend as an HBO special in 2016, which is now available to buy or rent on Prime Video.
