Diversity win! Netflix’s The Ultimatum: Queer Love shows audiences everywhere that, yes, queer couples can be just as toxic as straight couples. Season 2 of the hit reality TV show just dropped, and fans are squinting past the bickering couples and feasting their eyes on gorgeous beachfront views. Where was the show filmed this season? We here at Decider have the answers.
First, a little background: each season, The Ultimatum: Queer Love zeroes in on six queer couples on the outs. One partner desperately wants to get married, and the other isn’t so sure about making that kind of commitment. Yikes! Luckily, series host JoAnna Garcia Swisher is here to help the couples decide. The rules of the game are as such: all couples agree to enter “trial marriages” with other people to work out their issues and figure out what exactly they are looking for. This should solve everything, right? Probably not, but if it did, it wouldn’t make good television.
Anyway, we’re not here to talk about that — we’re here to discuss the beautiful setting and swanky studio apartments that the couples find themselves in. Where exactly did they find the fancy flats? Here’s everything we know about The Ultimatum: Queer Love’s filming locations.

Time to get your tan on, because this season follows a group of couples all based in and around Miami, Florida. Miami’s the perfect city for this kind of show — it’s hot, wild, and just the right amount of trashy to be fun and leave you wanting more.
According to a Moviedelic article, the season used the Grove Central Residences at 2800 Southwest 27th Terrace in the heart of the city as one of its central locations. This stunningly designed apartment complex houses the couples and provides the perfect backdrop for them to air out their dirty laundry. Other popular landmarks featured this season include Bayside Marketplace, the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Wynwood Art District, Kaseya Center, and Little Havana.
And let’s not forget about the beaches — the couples share endless romantic moments and parasailing dates along the sandy coastlines of both Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Let’s just hope that their relationships don’t get taken out by the tide.
Season 2 of The Ultimatum: Queer Love is now available on Netflix.
