Live from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, Amanda Nunes defends her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship against Irene Aldana at UFC 289!

There’s no shortage of compelling matchups as the UFC returns to Canada. The first of two main events features a battle between Nunes (22-5) and Aldana for (14-6) for bantamweight gold. The champ’s 12 fight winning-streak was snapped when she lost to Julianna Peña in December of 2021 at UFC 269. Fortunately, she regained the title in a July 2022 rematch, defeating Peña by unanimous decision at UFC 277. Aldana enters the octagon on a two-bout winning streak, last losing to Holly Holm at a UFC on ESPN event in October of 2020.

The second main event pits Charles Oliveira (33-9), UFC’s top-ranked lightweight, against fourth-ranked Beneil Dariush (22-4-1). Oliveira lost his last bout to Islam Makhachev, while Dariush is riding high on an eight-fight winning streak. Which combatant will exit Vancouver with the win? We’re about to find out.

From start time to live stream info, here’s how to watch UFC 289 live on ESPN+.

UFC 289 starts tonight (June 10) with early preliminary bouts at 6:00 p.m. on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass. ESPN and ESPN+ will also host preliminary fights at 7:00 p.m. ET. The main card, which is available to purchase through ESPN+, is scheduled to begin at 10:00 p.m. ET.

UFC 289 is exclusive to ESPN+, so if you’re looking to stream this event, non-ESPN+ subscribers will need to sign up for ESPN+ (monthly or annual) and then purchase UFC 289, as PPVs are only available to ESPN+ subscribers. If you’re already an ESPN+ subscriber, you can purchase UFC 289 for $79.99.

ESPN+ subscribers who purchase UFC 289 will also have early access to Episode 3 of TUF 31: Team McGregor vs. Team Chandler. Per ESPN, subscribers will have the opportunity to stream the third installment of the series shortly after the conclusion of UFC 289.

ESPN offers two additional bundle packages:

UFC 289 & The Disney Bundle Trio Basic: This package provides you with a $12.99/month subscription to ESPN+, Disney+, and Hulu (ad-supported) and UFC 289 ($79.99) for $93.98 plus tax. You can also purchase an ad-free Hulu version of the bundle for $19.99/month.

UFC 289 & ESPN+ Bundle: If you’re a new subscriber, ESPN is offering a bundle that includes one UFC PPV and a one-year ESPN+ subscription for $124.98. You can also purchase ESPN+ for $9.99/month and then buy UFC 289 for $79.99.

ESPN+ offers the ability to stream live, rewind, or replay on up to three devices at once and is available to watch on a variety of connected devices, including Roku, Fire TV, Xbox, Apple, Google Chromecast, PlayStation, and more.

Along with Nunes vs. Aldana, the main card includes the following bouts:

A full UFC fight card is available on the UFC website.

You can also stream UFC pay-per-view events live on Hulu. Subscribers with the ESPN+ add-on, as well as those who signed up for The Disney Bundle, can watch live events and ESPN+ programming on the Hulu app or website. You need an active subscription to both Hulu and ESPN+ (individual plans start at $9.99/each or you can purchase The Disney Bundle Trio) and then you can buy the event through ESPN+ and watch live on Hulu.

Once purchased, you can stream UFC 289 on the Hulu app, Hulu.com, or any supported device. Again, per Hulu, only subscribers who have signed up for the standalone ESPN+ add-on or who subscribe to The Disney Bundle will be able to access ESPN+ content in the Hulu app. Visit Hulu’s UFC page for additional information.
