Bosch: Legacy is in the books, but the Bosch universe continues to expand with Prime Video’s highly anticipated spinoff series Ballard.

Inspired by Michael Connelly’s Ballard novels, the series centers on Renée Ballard (Maggie Q), a detective tasked with tackling LA’s most challenging, long-forgotten crimes after she takes over the LAPD’s new and underfunded cold case division.

Per Amazon, “As she peels back layers of crimes spanning decades, including a serial killer’s string of murders and a murdered John Doe, she soon uncovers a dangerous conspiracy within the LAPD. With the help of her volunteer team and retired detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), Detective Ballard navigates personal trauma, professional challenges, and life-threatening dangers to expose the truth.”

Also starring Courtney Taylor, John Carroll Lynch, Michael Mosley, Rebecca Field, Victoria Moroles, Amy Hill, Ricardo Chavira, Noah Bean, Alain Uy, and Hector Hugo, all ten Season 1 episodes of Ballard are about to drop on Prime Video. Here’s how to watch this buzzy new series online.

Ballard Season 1 premieres Wednesday, July 9 at 3:00 a.m. ET on Prime Video.
