The first episode of the hotly anticipated new season of Demon Slayer (“Someone’s Dream”) recently debuted on Crunchyroll and Funimation. Based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge, the newest installment centers on Tanjiro’s journey to the Swordsmith Village, where he reunites with two Hashira. Per Crunchyroll, “with the shadows of demons lurking near, a new battle begins for Tanjiro and his comrades.”
If you’re looking to catch up on previous episodes, Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Hulu and Netflix in the United States. Where can you watch Demon Slayer Season 3 online? Will the new season be on Hulu or Netflix? Here’s everything you need to know.
The new season premiered Sunday, April 9, 2023!
The first episode of Demon Slayer Season 3 is now streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation. Available for as little as $7.99/month, Crunchyroll offers ad-free access to a slew of exceptional anime shows. A 14-day free trial is available for new subscribers.
Sadly, it doesn’t look like the new season of Demon Slayer will be on Hulu in the near future.
The official Hulu support Twitter handle had this to say in response to a question about the third season premiering on the streamer. “We don’t currently have the streaming rights, but we’ll let our teams know you’re interested in seeing it in our lineup. For now, make sure to keep the show in your My Stuff/Watchlist to stay current with any updates. Let us know if you have any other questions!”
Nope. While the first two seasons are currently available on Netflix in the United States, the third season isn’t on the platform.
Crunchyroll will simulcast new episodes each week, with Demon Slayer Season 3, Episode 2 scheduled to premiere Sunday, April 16 on the streamer.
