Last week, the third installment of the immensely popular Creed franchise landed on Prime Video. If you’re looking to go the distance with another boxing film, George Tillman Jr.’s Big George Foreman is now available to stream on VOD.
Starring Khris Davis as the legendary fighter, the film centers on the miraculous story of how Foreman, fueled by an impoverished childhood, channeled his anger into becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. Based on a true story, the movie follows the iconic athlete from the ring to the pulpit, before Big George returns to boxing to reclaim his title and become the oldest World Heavyweight Champion in history. Also starring Jasmine Mathews, Sullivan Jones, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., and Forest Whitaker, the film currently has a 43% Tomatometer rating (but 96% Audience Score) on Rotten Tomatoes.
