Another day of The View has come and gone without Whoopi Goldberg. The beloved moderator, who joined the hit talk show in 2007, has been missing from her usual seat at the Hot Topics table since yesterday.
While Wednesday’s (Feb. 19) episode of The View only featured four co-hosts (Joy Behar, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sunny Hostin, and Sara Haines), production was luckily able to snag their Monday and Friday co-host Ana Navarro to fill in the empty seat today.
The last time Goldberg appeared on the show was on Tuesday’s (Feb. 18) episode, during which they discussed Saturday Night Live‘s 50th anniversary special that aired on Sunday night (Feb. 16).
So, why was Goldberg missing today? And when will she be back?
Here’s everything we know:
Goldberg has been missing from The View for the last two days. Behar first revealed that Goldberg had come down with a case of the flu on Wednesday’s episode of the hit daytime talk show. The comedian addressed her friend’s absence once again at the top of today’s broadcast.
“Whoopi is still out with the flu. It’s going around. Be careful,” Behar said from Goldberg’s usual seat. “We hope you’re feeling better, Whoopi. Come back soon.”

We’re not exactly sure when Goldberg will be back on The View. But according to Harvard Health, the flu can last anywhere from five to seven days. Therefore, we might have to wait until next week to see Goldberg at the Hot Topics table again. In the meantime, we’re wishing her a speedy recovery!
