It has been well over a week since pop star Kelly Clarkson has hosted her own NBC talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show, and fans are becoming increasingly worried about her continued absence.
The American Idol alum last appeared on the show March 5, when she hosted Jason Derulo, Nora Fatehi and Jason Isaacs on the broadcast.
Clarkson has not returned to the show in over a week. The pop star has mysteriously not addressed the absence on social media, nor has she shared any updates.
But the show has been left in good hands.
This week alone, Brooke Shields and Molly Sims are guest-hosting the broadcast, along with Today anchor Willie Geist. Wanda Sykes and Roy Wood Jr. also recently stepped up to the plate to fill in for Clarkson.
Just before her absence, there appeared to be some kind of shake-up backstage on March 3 when Last Breath star Simu Liu was tapped to host the broadcast though he was in the studio as a guest to promote his new film.
“Kelly isn’t able to make it today. We’re sending her our very best,” he said on the show. “I did not know that I was doing this until about five minutes ago when I arrived to promote my new movie Last Breath.”
He added, “I’m here now, and look, I’m not one to back down from a challenge.”
So, when will Clarkson be back on the show? Here’s what we know.

It remains unclear why Clarkson has not been able to host her talk show recently. DECIDER has reached out to NBC for comment.
But thankfully, it looks like she will be back on the show next week! Kal Penn is set to guest host March 17, while Andy Cohen will guest host on March 19.
Clarkson is expected to be back next Tuesday (March 18), Thursday (March 20), and Friday (March 21). To make the occasion even more special, the March 20 episode marks the 1,000th episode of her show.
Tyler Perry and Alicia Vikander will join her for the special broadcast.
The Kelly Clarkson Show airs weekdays at 3 p.m. ET on NBC. Check the website for local listings.
