Good news, Prime Video subscribers: Nick Santora’s Reacher is about to return for Season 2!

Based on Lee Child’s “Bad Luck and Trouble,” the eight-episode second season centers on Reacher (Alan Ritchson) reuniting with his former Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigators. But it’s not exactly under ideal circumstances: Members of the 110th are being mysteriously and brutally murdered.

Per Amazon, “pulled from his drifter lifestyle, Reacher reunites with three of his former teammates turned chosen family to investigate, including Frances Neagley (Maria Sten); Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan), a forensic accountant for whom Reacher has long had a soft spot; and fast-talking, switchblade-wielding family man David O’Donnell (Shaun Sipos). Together, they begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes get higher at every turn, and that brings about questions of who has betrayed them—and who will die next.”

Reacher Season 2 officially premieres Friday, December 15 on Prime Video. However, previous Amazon shows debuted at 8:00 p.m. ET the night before the release date, so it’s possible, probable even, that you’ll be able to stream the first three episodes of Reacher Season 2 as early as Thursday, December 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The new season consists of eight total episodes.
