On May 31, 2023, all ten episodes of Heartland Season 15 debuted on Netflix.
Originally premiering all the way back in October of 2007, Murray Shostak’s long-running dramedy is a multi-generational saga centering on a family experiencing all the highs and lows of life. Based on Lauren Brooke’s Heartland book series, the beloved Canadian staple has produced almost 250 episodes during its sixteen-season run, with a 17th season on the way.
As we mentioned above, the first 15 seasons are currently streaming on Netflix, but what if you already binged those episodes? Will Heartland Season 16 find its way to Netflix in the near future? Great question. Here’s everything we know.
Yes! Seasons 1-15 of the long-running series are now streaming on Netflix.
No official release date has been announced but based on recent history, we have a pretty good idea of when to expect Season 16 episodes to drop on Netflix.
Heartland Season 14 aired its season finale (in Canada) on March 21, 2021. The season premiered April 1, 2022, on Netflix in the United States. There was an even longer gap for Season 15, with the finale airing on December 19, 2021, and the season debuting May 31, 2023, on Netflix. Sadly, it’s going to be a while before new episodes of the series drop on Netflix.
The Season 16 finale aired in Canada on February 5, 2023 (and the episodes are premiering weekly on Up Faith & Family in the U.S.), which means the new season should debut on Netflix in mid-2024. We’ll update this story when an official release date is announced.
Thankfully, fans have a variety of options:
Season 15 and select Season 16 episodes of the series are available to watch with an active subscription to Up Faith & Family, which is available for $5.99/month or $53.99/year. A 14-day free trial is available for new subscribers (and Amazon offers a seven-day free trial).
