The Last of Us Season 2 is all about a never-ending cycle of violent retribution. Yes, there will be a Last of Us Season 3. HBO confirmed they were renewing the show all the way back on April 9, 2025. The Last of Us co-creator and co-showrunner Craig Mazin has also shared that he and partner Neil Druckmann have always planned on splitting the events of video game The Last of Us II into multiple TV seasons. “It feels like we’ve got one or two more seasons,” Mazin told Variety.
