If you’re one of the many people who find themselves tuning into ABC tonight (April 29), we have a quick programming note. Two of your favorites, The Rookie and Will Trent will be delayed due to ABC airing President Trump the First 100 Days: The Interview in the Oval Office.
But don’t worry! You’ll still be able to enjoy new episodes. Each show will start an hour earlier, with Will Trent beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET and The Rookie airing at 10:00 p.m. ET. What exactly does that mean for High Potential?
Honestly, it has no impact on the popular Kaitlin Olson-led crime drama, but we do have some good news regarding the show’s future. When will High Potential return with new episodes? Here’s everything you need to know.
Nope. President Trump the First 100 Days: The Interview in the Oval Office airs at 8:00 p.m. ET, followed by new episodes of Will Trent and The Rookie from 9:00-11:00 p.m. ET.
Season 1 of High Potential consists of 13 episodes.
You bet! Earlier this year, ABC renewed High Potential for a second season. As we mentioned above, the first season had 13 episodes, but Kaitlin Olson recently said that the second season will have more episodes.
No official release date has been announced, but the show’s writing staff is currently mapping out the new season, with filming expected to start in May. Barring any unforeseen delays, we expect High Potential Season 2 to debut in September 2025.
