Following Starz’s much-anticipated series premiere of Outlander: Blood Of My Blood — the prequel to Outlander — last week, fans will finally be able to stream Season 7 of the beloved original series on Netflix. The second-to-last season of the show, which follows the Fraser family’s survival during the Revolutionary War, concluded in November 2024.
Netflix added Season 6 to its queue last year. We’re expecting Season 7 to come out on the platform in parts.
Here’s the good news: Part 1 of Outlander Season 7 (Episodes 1-8) will be released on Netflix on Monday, Aug. 11. That’s today!
The bad news is that Part 2 (Episodes 9-16) aren’t slated to hit the platform until Jan. 17, 2027. (Boo!)
This means Part 2 won’t hit Netflix until well after Season 8, the final season of the series, has already premiered on Starz. It’s scheduled for early 2026, with no official release date announced yet.
In the meantime, if you do have Starz, catch Outlander: Blood Of My Blood every Friday until Oct. 10. It won’t spoil any of Season 7 for you, as it’s set many years prior, following the intersecting love stories of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) parents.

Netflix offers three subscription plans to fit your streaming needs. The plans start at $7.99/month for standard with ads and go up to $24.99/month for unlimited ad-free streaming in up to 4K UHD quality.
Remember! If you get all caught up with Outlander on Netflix but can’t wait until 2026 to see how this part of the story wraps, all of the episodes of Outlander are available to stream on Starz. Hurry up, though — there’s a limited time promotion being offered right at this very second that can get you an entire year of Starz for just $29.99, a whopping discount from the usual average rate of $69.99/year.
