But this is more than just a new, ripped-from-the-headlines TV movie. This is actually Lifetime’s 500th original movie. No wonder they brought in an icon like Bill Pullman to play the notorious Murdaugh murderer.

Alex Murdaugh was convicted of the June 2021 shooting and killing his wife and son on March 2, 2023.
