Is it too early to talk about the upcoming NFL season? Never! The 25-26 regular season officially begins on Thursday, September 4 when the Philadelphia Eagles battle the Dallas Cowboys on NBC and Peacock. But what’s the perfect NFL regular season appetizer?
You guessed it: Hard Knocks!
HBO’s long-running docuseries will once again follow an NFL team through training camp. Thanks to the NFL removing the “non-playoff team” requirement, the bright lights of Hard Knocks will shine on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills during the arduous days of training camp.
Buffalo finished their 24-25 season atop of the AFC East with a 13-4 record. The Bills defeated the Ravens in the second round of the playoffs before losing a 32-29 heartbreaker to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship. Perhaps Hard Knocks will be the secret sauce that’ll help Buffalo return to the Super Bowl? Time will tell.
Here’s when the new season of Hard Knocks premieres on HBO Max.
Thanks to the revised rules on which teams can participate in the HBO show, this season of Hard Knocks: Training Camp will center on the Buffalo Bills.
Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills premieres Tuesday, August 5 on HBO Max. The show’s “in season” edition will once again center on an entire division, the NFC East, and will debut on HBO in December 2025.
