Our favorite medical team at Grey Sloan Memorial is returning to our screens with a 22nd season next week. And yes, we can finally find out what went down after the hospital’s brutal explosion that left us all with our jaws on the floor.
If you’re here, you’ve probably been a Grey’s Anatomy fan for a while. The widely popular medical drama has been airing on ABC since 2005 and has been going strong ever since. With 21 seasons and 448 episodes under its belt, we’ve watched the entangled relationships, career paths, and personal journeys within ABC’s beloved medical team morph over the last 20 years. Now, we’re ready for new storylines and fresh drama, but not without picking up from where we left off, the finale that went out with a bang.
While we don’t quite know how the explosion impacted the hospital, and more importantly, who survived the tragedy, we do know how you can prepare to tap into Season 22 to find answers. We’ve gathered up info on when the medical drama premieres, where to watch it, how many episodes are lined up, and the shows cast members. Plus, scroll to the top to get a sneak peek of the show through Grey’s Anatomy’s Season 22 official trailer.
Season 22 of Grey’s Anatomy will be back on Thursday, October 9, at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. The first episode of the new season was originally supposed to come out on October 16, but is now set to be released a week earlier.
The medical drama will air on ABC on the premiere date, but will be available to stream on Hulu the next day. If you’re looking to catch up on previous episodes, the past 21 seasons are available on Netflix.
If you’re new to Hulu, you can get started with a 30-day free trial on the streamer’s basic (with ads) plan. After the trial period, you’ll pay $9.99/month. If you want to upgrade to Hulu ad-free, it costs $18.99/month.
If you want to stream even more and save a few bucks a month while you’re at it, we recommend subscribing to one of the Disney+ Bundles, all of which include Hulu. These bundles start at $10.99/month for ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu and goes up to $29.99/month for Disney+, Hulu, and Max, all ad-free.
