As we say goodbye to the summer, we greet the new fall TV schedule with open arms.

Kaitlin Olson’s fan favorite High Potential and the always entertaining reality series Dancing with the Stars have returned on ABC, The Voice is back on NBC, and Bob’s Burgers is about to serve up another season of delicious helping of entertainment when the show returns with new episodes on Sunday, September 28.

But what about our old pals Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Chefs?

The first three programs will be back before you know it, while Chicago Chefs, a theoretical Dick Wolf-produced series exploring the professional and personal lives of ornery Windy City chefs, doesn’t exist… yet. You can’t tell me NBC hasn’t at least thought about it after the success of The Bear.

When exactly does One Chicago return with new episodes? Here’s everything you need to know.

Nope. NBC is airing three hours of America’s Got Talent (8:00-1100 p.m. ET) as the Season 20 winner is revealed.

Yes! In May 2025, NBC renewed all three shows for the 2025-2026 season.

Next week! The season premieres of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. air Wednesday, October 1 from 8:00-11:00 p.m. ET on NBC.

You can watch new episodes of One Chicago live on NBC, the NBC app, or NBC.com (with a valid cable login).

The only way to watch shows airing live without cable is by using a live TV streaming service. We recommend DIRECTV, which has a number of flexible subscription options starting at $49.99/month and comes with a five-day free trial.

An NBC live stream is also available via fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, or Sling TV. YouTube TV, fuboTV, and Hulu + Live TV offer free trials for new subscribers.

All 35 seasons (that’s right, thirty-five!?!) of Chicago Fire, Med, and P.D. are available to stream on Peacock.

One Chicago returns Wednesday, October 1 on NBC.
