There’s always a bit of confusion when it comes to all things streaming and Yellowstone.

Taylor Sheridan’s Kevin Costner-led flagship series originally aired on Paramount Network but it’s now available in its entirety on Peacock. In theory, Sheridan’s popular Yellowstone prequel 1923 should be easier to find, and it is, to an extent.

1923 is a Paramount+ original, but Season 1 episodes did air on Paramount Network in late 2024. Adding to the streaming quagmire is the fact that the second season premiere of 1923 made its Paramount Network debut on Sunday, March 16. This happens fairly often with Paramount+ shows, with the network airing season premieres hoping to drive subscribers to Paramount’s streaming platform.

Long story short: New episodes of 1923 premiere Sunday mornings on Paramount+. Here’s how to watch the latest episode — Season 2, Episode 5: “Only Gunshots to Guide Us” — online.

1923 Season 2, Episode 5 won’t be on Paramount Network this weekend (March 22 and 23). The Season 2 premiere (“The Killing Season”) aired last Sunday (March 16) on the network, but new episodes debut on Paramount+.

New films and TV shows are added to Paramount+ at 3:00 a.m. ET (12:00 a.m. PT). The fifth episode of 1923 Season 2 (“Only Gunshots to Guide Us”) will debut Sunday, March 23 at 3:00 a.m. ET on the streamer.

The final season of 1923 consists of eight episodes.
