MAX‘s new medical drama The Pitt debuted last week, introducing TV nerds to the doctors, nurses, and patients at the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital, aka “The Pitt.” The first season of the The Pitt takes place over an entire fifteen hour shift in the hospital’s overtaxed emergency room. Each episode represents one hour for head attendant Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle), colleagues Dr. Collins (Tracey Ifeachor), Dr. Langdon (Patrick Ball), Dr. McKay (Fiona Dourif), and a quartet of new interns and med school students on the floor.
