In “Swimmer’s Calculus,” we saw Rossi (Joe Mantegna), Prentiss (Paget Brewster), JJ (A.J. Cook), Luke (Adam Rodriguez), Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), Tyler (Ryan-James Hatanaka), and the rest of the series’ core characters work to track down a new unsub with concerning ties to Sicarius’ playbook. In the premiere’s final moments, Voit awoke from his coma in the hospital and grabbed his nurse’s neck. So is the Season 16 serial killer about to unleash his reign of terror on the world again? Will he work with the BAU to catch more unsubs like he did in Season 17? Or will the series go in a totally different direction? We’ll have to tune in to Episode 2 to find out!
