On top of an unexpectedly dramatic Hawk Tuah cameo, the two-episode premiere of Hulu‘s new football comedy Chad Powers saw ousted college QB Russ Holliday (Glen Powell) donning facial prosthetics, reinventing himself, and walking on to South Georgia Catfish tryouts as aspiring QB Chad Powers. While he did make the team, Episode 2 revealed that Coach Hudson (Steve Zahn) didn’t select him as starting QB, so Episode 3 will see how that decision plays out on game day.
Per Hulu, the official synopsis for Chad Powers Episode 3 is as follows: “It’s the second half of the season opener against Ole Miss and the Catfish are losing. Stuck on the sidelines together, Chad and Ricky team up and try to save the day.”
Will Chad and Ricky (Perry Mattfeld) pull out a win in the end? And will Chad Powers successfully catfish his way into South Georgia Catfish stardom? We’ll have to tune in to find out!
