Wheel of Fortune contestant Tarhea Marshall missed out on a massive prize when a puzzle in the “Food and Drink” category left her stumped.

Marshall had just ten seconds on the clock to guess the phrase, which read “BAGELS & ___G_N_TS.”

She tried multiple guesses, which included “Bagels and beignets,” and, “Bagels and croissants.” But she failed to guess the correct answer, which was “Bagels and doughnuts.”

Host Pat Sajak tried to help her feel better after she appeared disappointed by the loss. “You know, a lot of shops have stopped spelling it the proper way, and that’s probably what you were [thinking], but there is a ‘U, G, H’ up there, I’m sorry,” he told her.

He then revealed what her bonus prize would have been: a BMW!

“Oh my goodness, there it is again,” he said. Multiple contestants on the show have recently missed out on winning the BMW. “So I believe if we spent the entire week not getting it, I believe I get it. Isn’t that true?”

Fans at home could not believe that Marshall missed out on the puzzle.

“IT WAS BAGELS AND DOUGHNUTS YOU MORON HOW DID YOU GET IT WRONG OMG,” one fan wrote on X.

“Did anyone see that chick on wheel of fortune? She had a BMW right there and couldn’t say Bagels and doughnuts. I was screaming at my fucking TV poor chick,” another wrote.

Despite the loss, Marshall was still victorious in the end and got to go home with $25,898 in earnings and a paid trip to Greece.

Who will finally get the coveted BMW? Another contestant recently missed out on winning one when they incorrectly guessed “Braising the aisles” instead of “Browsing the aisles.”
