LONDON — The Jets lost 13-11 on Sunday and fell to an incredible 0-6 this season. Here are some thoughts and observations from the game.
1. Aaron Glenn keeps on comparing the current Jets situation to what he faced in Detroit as the defensive coordinator under Dan Campbell. I get it. The Lions started 0-8 that year and ended up 3-13-1 before things flipped for them midway through their second season with the team.
But he has to stop referencing Detroit.

SIGN UP NOWThat was a total rebuild for Campbell and GM Brad Holmes. The Lions team that they took over had very little young talent. The leading rusher on the 2020 Lions, the year before Campbell and Glenn arrrived, was Adrian Peterson. The leading receiver was Marvin Jones. They still had Matthew Stafford but he was at the end of his run in Detroit. They had no stars on defense. Romeo Okwara led the team in sacks.
