Your next favorite romantic comedy is coming to Netflix this weekend, and it’s called The Perfect Find.

Based on the 2016 self-published novel of the same name by Tia Williams, The Perfect Find stars Gabrielle Union as a 40-year-old woman named Jenna, who is coming off of a very public break-up with her famous boyfriend. Jenna is determined to throw herself into her career as a fashion magazine editor. But she gets distracted when she hooks up with a charming 20-something man named Eric (played by Keith Powers) at a party, only to discover he’s the son of her new, no-nonsense boss (played by Gina Torres). Can Jenna and Eric overcome their sexual tension in order to work together as responsible colleagues?

Directed by Numa Perrier (known for her buzzy debut feature, Jezebel), with a screenplay adapted by Leigh Davenport, The Perfect Find doesn’t exactly adhere to real-world logic. But it does adhere to the long-held romantic comedy tradition of banter, pining, and hot-as-hell kissing.
