Shane Gillis’ new comedy Tires is about to drop on Netflix.

The comedian’s first scripted series started as a YouTube pilot, but after the success of his 2023 stand-up special, Shane Gillis: Beautiful Dogs, Netflix acquired the six-episode comedy. The streamer has already renewed the show for a second season and ordered another stand-up special from Gillis.

Per Netflix, Tires centers on Will (Steven Gerben), a nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain who tries to turn his dad’s business around despite constant torture from his cousin and now employee, Shane (Gillis). The series also stars Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, and Stavros Halkias, and features comedian Andrew Schulz in a guest-starring role.
