After a two-week drought, Outlander is finally back on Starz this week! Outlander Season 7 Episode 8 “Turning Points” premieres tomorrow, Friday, August 11. That’s when we’ll finally learn if Jamie (Sam Heughan) survived the first Battle of Saratoga and how Roger (Richard Rankin) and Brianna (Sophie Skelton) will handle the news that Jem (Blake Johnston Miller) has been kidnapped and sent through the stones. History tells us that there is still one more major fray to come at Saratoga. So will all our favorite Outlander characters survive the fight ahead?
When we last visited the heroes and heroines of Outlander, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) was promising Jamie that he better return to her after the Battle of Saratoga — and if he didn’t, she would come after him. Meanwhile, Jamie’s secret son William Ransome (Charles Vandervaart) experienced the horror of his first bloody battle, losing his best friend in the process, but becoming closer to commanding officer Simon Fraser (Angus Macfadyen). And in the 1980s-set plot, Roger and Brianna reluctantly befriended time traveler Buck MacKenzie (Diarmaid Murtagh), who was on to the backstabbing kidnapper Rob Cameron (Chris Fulton) from the start.
The Outlander Season 7 mid-season finale promises to hurl our favorites into danger once more. Who will live? Who will die? Who will time travel? And is Jamie actually dead?
