Netflix’s new action comedy Obliterated is the chillest of hangs.
Created by Cobra Kai’s Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald, the R-rated series follows an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly attack in Las Vegas. To celebrate, the gang gets hammered, only to learn that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. What a buzzkill, right? The team has seven hours to find the real bomb and save the world… all while intoxicated. The show is headlined by Nick Zano (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) and Shelley Hennig (Teen Wolf) and features a talented ensemble that includes Kimi Rutledge, Terrence Terrell, Alyson Gorske, C. Thomas Howell, Eugene Kim, and Paola Lázaro.
Obliterated is a return to genre for the Cobra Kai trio. Before the guys reinvigorated the Karate Kid franchise, Hurwitz and Schlossberg wrote the Harold & Kumar movies, while Heald penned the Hot Tub Time Machine films.
