Billy Joel is back for an encore performance as the second half of Billy Joel: And So It Goes debuts tonight (July 25) on HBO and HBO Max.

The first part of the sprawling documentary on the life and career of one of the music industry’s biggest stars was met with universal acclaim as the Piano Man tops the Rotten Tomatoes charts with a pitch-perfect 100% score. Part 2 will focus on the singer’s complicated reunion with his absent father. Per the official synopsis, “After years on the road, Joel meets his future wife Christie Brinkley, who inspires the hit ‘Uptown Girl’. Dedicated to his craft but uneasy with fame, Joel perseveres through numerous setbacks, choosing to reinvent himself time and time again.”
