Lara Trump, Eric Trump‘s wife and a former television producer who co-chairs the Republican National Committee, is expected to give a speech at this week’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, WI.
Trump was recently featured in Time Magazine for her new role in the RNC and the dramatic career flip it brough her.
“I’m not numb to the fact that this is because my last name is Trump,” she told Time, “but I do think merit is important in everything we do.”
In her role, Trump notably launched a “Women For Trump” bus tour around the U.S. amidst the 2016 election to support her father-in-law, Donald Trump. After working in the role a surrogate and senior adviser on the 2020 campaign, Trump became known as a prominent voice among Jan. 6 protestors.
In addition to her recent appointment on the RNC, Lara runs a podcast called The Right View with Lara Trump, which she first launched in 2020. Here’s everything you need to know about her upcoming speaking gig at the RNC.
It is unknown exactly when Lara Trump will give her speech. Last convention, the Trump family gave their speeches during primetime throughout the week. In 2020, Ivanka officially introduced Trump for his official nominee speech. She is not on the docket to speak this year, and it is unclear who will be taking her place.
Decider will update this piece accordingly once more details about Lara’s speech time become available.
Not all networks and streaming services will stream every part of the convention, but there are still many options for interested viewers to tune in.
The entire convention is streaming live on YouTube from the Republican National Convention’s account. This livestream can be accessed directly from their website.
The New York Times will also stream the convention speeches during primetime on its website, alongside real-time commentary and analysis from reporters.
For those who may not be able to watch the convention live or from their living room, there are a multitude of other streaming options that will be available after the fact.
As previously mentioned, both the RNC and The New York Times will have coverage on their websites.
All streaming services including a live TV subscription— including Hulu+Live TV, FuboTV and DirecTV Stream — will also broadcast the speech on any channel covering the 2024 RNC. The listed platforms also all offer free trials if you do not already hold a subscription.
