NextImg:What time is 'Brilliant Minds' on tonight? How to watch 'Brilliant Minds' Season 1 finale live on NBC and online

New year, new episodes of Brilliant Minds! That’s how the saying goes, right?

Since Michael Grassi’s hit NBC medical drama went on hiatus on December 9, fans of Dr. Oliver Wolf (Zachary Quinto), Dr. Carol Pierce (Tamberla Perry), Dr. Josh Nichols (Teddy Sears), and the rest of the Neurology Department at Bronx General Hospital have been eagerly awaiting its return.

Though it’s been a rough three weeks without Brilliant Minds Mondays, we’re thrilled to report fans won’t have to wait much longer to watch new episodes. So is Brilliant Minds on tonight? When is the Brilliant Minds Season 1 finale? How can you watch Brilliant Minds live or online? And how many episodes are in Brilliant Minds Season 1? We’ve got you covered.

Here’s everything to know about Brilliant Minds‘ 2025 return date, time, streaming info, and more. And if you want additional insight into the series, be sure to read Decider’s interviews with showrunner Michael Grassi and stars Tamberla Perry and Zachary Quinto.

Yes! And there’s a twist. You’re getting not one, but two back-to-back new episodes of Brilliant Minds, which will serve as the two-part Season 1 finale.

On Monday, January 6, 2025, Brilliant Minds Episode 12, “The Doctor Whose World Collapsed,” will air from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. ET and Episode 13, “The Man Who Can’t See Faces” will air from 10:00 to 11:00 p.m. ET.

NBC’s official synopsis for Episode 12, “The Doctor Whose World Collapsed” is as follows: “Dr. Wolf and his team face their biggest challenge yet when an apartment building collapses in the Bronx.”

Then here’s what you can expect from Episode 13, “The Man Who Can’t See Faces”: “Dr. Wolf meets a pastor dealing with mysterious visions. The interns grapple with the fallout from the building collapse.”

When we last left Brilliant Minds, Dr. Ericka Kinney’s (Ashleigh LaThrop) fate was question after she got trapped in the elevator of her apartment building, so the finale is sure to resolve that cliffhanger.

“Ericka’s been, in my mind, the leader of the interns all season. And she’s sort of really stepped up as a friend, as a support system,” Grassi told NBC Insider. “She is so by the books and Type A. And I feel like all of our interns this season have been tested in different ways by patience or experiences… And Ericka’s been a real anchor to all of them. And I think we’ve been building to Ericka’s test in a weird way. Putting her in a position where she is scared for her own life, [and] at the same time has to step up and be a doctor for somebody else who’s in danger. And you really feel like everything that she’s learned all season long is put into this sequence, which is harrowing, in the elevator and also really holds up a mirror to herself.”
