Somehow we’re more than halfway through The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2. You know what they say! But I like to imagine Jenny Han does religiously.
In Season 2, of the series — inspired by Han’s popular YA novels — Team Jeremiah stays winning, the soundtrack stays iconic, and Belly’s nicknames stay horrible! So far, I’m having a great time soaking up the sun and delicious teen drama week after week. But TSITP’s Prime Video release schedule has been a major point of confusion for fans, so we’re here to set the record straight ahead of Episode 6.

TSITP Season 2 premiered on Prime Video on Friday, July 14 with its first three episodes, but after that, the season switched to a weekly release schedule. That means one new episode will be available to stream every Friday until the Season 2 finale airs on Friday, August 18. And that’s only two weeks away! Prime Video releases new content at midnight, but the episodes generally become available to stream at 12:00 a.m. GMT, which means The Summer I Turned Pretty fans could technically watch Season 2, Episode 6 starting at 8:00 p.m. EST or 5:00 p.m. PST on Thursday, August 3. But remember: If episodes don’t appear right away try refreshing your app or browser. Sometimes it takes platforms a few minutes to load new content.
Finished Episode 6 and already craving more? Mark your calendars for TSITP Season 2, Episode 7, “Love Affair.” The penultimate Season 2 episode premieres on Prime Video Friday, August 11. But if you’re looking for exact streaming time, you could technically tune in at 8:00 p.m. EST or 5:00 p.m. PST on Thursday, August 10.
