Andor Season 2 has reached its halfway point, plunging Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and his allies into one of the darkest chapters of the Galactic Rebellion. When the Disney+ show returned two weeks ago, we were introduced to the world of Ghorman. The isolationist planet is known throughout the Star Wars galaxy for its gorgeous textile trade, but the Empire wants sosmething else from this proud culture. Namely, there is a mineral under the planet’s surface that the Emperor needs to complete a very special project.
In the last few weeks of Andor Season 2, we’ve seen how ISB superstar Dedra Meero (Denise Gough) is using her boyfriend Syril Karn (Kyle Soller) to fan the flames of rebellion in Ghorman’s capital. The Ghorman Front believes they have no recourse but to fight back, when in fact, they are being positioned as a violent terrorist group by Imperial spin doctors plotting a genocide.
What will happen next on Andor? Will Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård) and Cassian hatch a plan to save Ghorman from the Empire? Will Bix (Adria Arjona) get back on the front lines of the fight? Will Senator Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly) get drunk and dance again?

Confused by Andor‘s unconventional rollout strategy? Worried you might miss a single episode of the Diego Luna Star Wars show? Here’s your Andor episode guide:

No, there will not be an Andor Season 3. Andor Season 2 is the final season of the Disney+ show.
Even though series creator Tony Gilroy and Andor star/EP Diego Luna initially planned five seasons of Andor, they shifted course when they realized how long one season of the show takes to make.
“It is the final season because it takes two years and a half to make one season,” Luna explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “We promised five at the beginning, but then we were doing the first… The amazing Tony Gilroy came to Scotland and we were shooting and we sat down and said, ‘Like this is going to be impossible. I mean, how can we do five seasons? It’s more than a decade. I cannot fire a blaster for another ten years.’”
That said, Andor Season 2 isn’t the end of Cassian Andor’s story. Star Wars fans can go straight from the Andor Season 2 finale into the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which in turn, leads directly into the opening of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.
